All Day

( link )We are hosting a Saturday, April 29th, night dinner at the farm (amongst our fruit trees – weather permitting).  Locally known chef Peter Knapp of PJ’s Eatery will be preparing our dinner that includes fruit from the farm and other locally sourced foods.  To sign up for our dinner in the orchard go to our online store ( link ).  This year, our farm dinner coincides with the full moon.  One of our favorite things is to watch the moon rise over the West Elk Mountains.  Enjoy your meal, good company and the beauty of the farm.  As part of the tour we also organize a visit to a heritage lamb farm, winery, and distillery tours on Saturday, April 29.  All the tours are free, however, we do charge for the Saturday night dinner and lunch after the farm tour on Sunday.  Lunch can also be purchased on our online store ( link ).In past years we have had over 100 people for our dinner in the field on Saturday night and 80 people for the walk around the farm.  The food is great, the conversation excellent and it is all capped off by our view of the West Elk Mountains.  Every year those that attend comment on all they have learned, how much fun it is to see a grafted trees and how powerful our wind machines are.  We hope you can attend the tour this year! Our Saturday afternoon tour will start with a guided tour of Desert Weyr Farms, move to Stone Cottage Vineyards, proceed to Peak Spirits distillery and Jack Rabbit Hill Vineyards and finish with our dinner in the orchard.
