“Farm-to-Table Weekend
April 15 -17

Colorado Life Magazine has dubbed Paonia “Colorado’s farm-to-table capitol” and this weekend is designed to show you why the town has received this designation. Guests will arrive Friday evening and check in by 7:00 p.m. Then the group will carpool to Stone Cottage Cellars for a wine tasting and an opportunity to get acquainted with your fellow tour members.

After a good night’s sleep and a hearty breakfast the tour will take you to visit orchards and farms. (Note: this is the weekend when, on average, the cherry trees are in bloom.) You can hear about and see what happens in the spring to supply your dinner table later in the year. After lunch it’s off to learn about bread baking in an outdoor oven and making goat cheese. There’ll be time for a brief rest before dinner at a “farm-to-table” restaurant.

The full weekend for two persons sharing a room is $425, or $300 for single occupancy. This includes two nights at the Bross Hotel, two breakfasts, the tour, wine tasting, lunch and dinner.
Reservations required. 970-527-6776.
