Ride the Rockies Schedule
Riders arrive between noon and 4pm at the Hotchkiss K-8 School from Grand Junction via Grand Mesa and Cedaredge over Redland Mesa (North Road to 3100 Road to L Road to 3200 Road to Highway 92 and into town).
Hotchkiss K-8 School will be the headquarters site and the location where a high proportion of riders will overnight. The school will also provide lunch between noon and 5pm, as well as snacks and services to the riders.
Black Family String Band.
The Fairgrounds will be the location of the entertainment, community evening meal, and beer garden. The beer garden includes O'Dell brewery and HCCC member businesses: Jack Rabbit Hill, Peak Spirits, Mesa Winds Farm & Winery, and Big B's/North Fork Cellars. Food vendors include FFA Alumni with pulled pork dinner; The Lion's club's baked potato bar; and Kids Pasta Project's homemade pasta dinners.
Musical entertainment line up is:
3:00 PM - 4:00 PM / The Black Family String Band
4:00 PM - 6:00 PM / TK and the Gentlemen
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM / North Fork Country
Riders depart Hotchkiss K-8 School on Tuesday morning between 5-8:30am traveling down 4th street through the fairgrounds and out to Highway 92 near the river. Then riders travel south on Highway 92 to Fobare Road, and then south on Crawford Road, again joining Highway 92 just west of Crawford and proceeding towards Tuesday's overnight stop, Gunnison.
