Ft Uncompahgre Delta Colorado
May 18-19-20 2018 Robidoux Artist Camp
A unigue opportunity to photograph, film and paint the finest period correct, time period models. This event will offer correct fur trade, men, women, animals and equipage for modeling. People are still painting this romantic jenre but many of those paintings depict improper clothing, guns and other misconceptions. There will be no full face coyote hats at this event.
There will be traders, trappers, tradesman, laborers at this event. Characters will be of the Rocky Mountains and Southwest 1820-1845. Model participants will be juried to assure quality.
Artists will not pay for access via tips which will be replaced by a 1 time registration fee of 125.00 in cash. All selected models will provide releases for their images. The fee grants artists full access to any model and that model will pose, make clothing adjustments, or move animals as directed by the artist.
There will be 2 venues. One is inside Ft Uncompahgre itself, and the other will be west of Delta a few miles in the canyons. The canyon site will be used by the muleskinners and horseman and is rugged. It should offer great up and down shots.
